The development will consist of temporary accommodation for Whitecross Primary School population to decant to for the duration of the construction of the extension to Whitecross Primary School (Planning Ref; SA/130/628) The temporary accommodation comprising 7 no. Single storey prefabs relocated from the school site and 2 no. new two storey prefab blocks which in total will provide 16 temporary classrooms, 5 temporary special needs rooms, 2 temporary offices and a temporary staff room. New foul water drainage to connect to existing network, new surface water drainage to connect to new temporary attenuation tank, removal of new fence and partial removal of hedge on western boundary, new gate on eastern boundary, all other boundaries unchanged, regrading of site levels within the site and site clearance works.

Part demolition of existing school buildings and construction of two storey and single storey extensions to the existing Whitecross National School to create a 16 classroom primary school with general purpose hall and ancillary facilities (new build area 2015sqm) and including extensive refurbishment and remodeling works to the existing school building. Site works including 32no. car parking spaces, new vehicular entrance and exit, part new boundary wall to road, two bus set down areas, a new 3.0m wide pavement 97.2m long along the front of the site on the R132, a pedestrian crossing point at the junction of Ballygarth manor road and the R132, new surface water drainage connection to west of the site on the R132, hard play areas, fencing and gates and landscape planting at Whitecross National School, Julianstown, Co. Meath. Temporary Accommodation works comprising provision and removal of 2 No new two storey temporary buildings (Planning Ref SA130/628) to provide classrooms, accessible bathrooms offices and SET rooms. Service connections to existing temporary buildings on the site will be required to provide for the phasing strategy. Segregated access routes will be a requirement. Works for Temporary school will include changing existing site levels, site works, and works to boundaries. New foul water drainage to connect to existing network, new surface water drainage to connect to new temporary attenuation tank. New hard standing areas to be provided including play areas as part of temporary accommodation and including drainage works.
