Boundary Works and Treatment: Along the north-west and south-east, the existing boundaries are to be retained and supplemented to provide a 1.8m high boundary wall where required. Along the south-western boundary with Old Mallow Road – a 1.1m high rendered wall with railing above is proposed to create a boundary. Along the north-eastern boundary, the housing is proposed to be set back an adequate distance from the berm/embankment that runs along this boundary, with a noise barrier proposed along this boundary with sections becoming retaining in areas where cut is required.
