This is a section 54 application to vary condition 9 of planning permission la11/2017/0834/f for the erection of 48 dwellings @ oak country manor, crescent link, derry. this application seeks to vary condition 9 of this permission which requires a 3. 5m. earth bund to be erected along crescent link frontage for noise mitigation. however the applicant is concerned about its visual impact, wishes to vary this condition and instead, create a 1. 8m. earth bund instead of the 3. 5m bund and incorporate baskil m335 trickle vents with a sound insulation of39db. for the windows in the dwellings, to ensure sufficient noise mitigation. please see attached report from cassidy acoustics which set out the technical specifications of the earth mound and trickle vents.
